We bought this item for a recent trip overseas where the voltage is incompatible with the trusty ol' Hitachi Magic Wand. On the plus side: it's as powerful as the Hitachi (at the higher setting) and quieter; did not need recharging after three 10-15 minute sessions; well-made (except for cosmetic blemish around socket for removable charging cord); makes a funky night-light while being charged. Negatives: vibrating head does not provide pin-point accuracy of stimulation; the G-Spot attachment for the Hitachi Magic Wand is not compatible with the Acuvibe; a bit heavy unless the hand and arm holding it are supported.
